In 1996, he formed his own band, Young Madness, and while the name didn't last, his passion for music only grew stronger. Bishop has played with some of the best, including the original members of TCB and the Relentless Band. In 2022, he achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming the first artist in history to release a CD in two different genres—R&B and rap—on the same day! His story doesn’t stop there; he’s currently writing a powerful biography set to inspire many in January 2025.
Bishop’s life has taken him through every corner of Washington, D.C., attending 13 different schools along the way. His deep connection to the city has fueled his commitment to his community. He founded the NO SHOOT ZONE DC movement, a heartfelt initiative aimed at reducing violence in neighborhoods where families and children thrive. Although he faced setbacks, including a painful experience with local leadership, his spirit remains unbroken. Today, he continues to uplift his community and the culture with new projects, embodying resilience and hope.
We’re also excited to feature Jack Trip, a visionary who took a leap of faith in 2014 to pursue entrepreneurship full-time. He has toured with legends like Pastor Troy, Project Pat, and Juicy J, and collaborated with renowned producer Chink Santana. Jack's creativity shines through his work, including his role in the film "Pitbulls In A Skirt" and his contributions to BET’s Irv Gotti’s Tales. His scripted comedy, "Pimps In The Pulpit," showcases his talent and dedication to storytelling.
